 On March 14, 2018, thousands of students across the country participated in school walkouts and a 17-minute moment of silence to commemorate the 17 lives lost exactly one month ago at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.  Students from all over Denver Public Schools converged on the Colorado Capitol to let their voices be heard.  Among the participating schools were East High School, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early College, Denver School of Innovation and Sustainable Design, CEC Early College, and several others.
